Chef Ryan Averhart is the heart behind Real Food by Ryan – a Private Chef based on Maui, offering soulful, farm to table Hawaiian fusion for families, visitors, and retreat spaces across the island.

 

Born and raised in Michigan and now deeply rooted in Hawai’i, Ryan brings together over a decade of professional kitchen and Executive Chef experience with a passion for real, organic food and intentional living. Guided by the Just Eat Real Food (JERF) philosophy, his cooking reflects a commitment to nourishment – not just the body, but of the heart and soul.

 

Every dish Ryan serves is a celebration of local ingredients, community, and connection – grounded in aloha, elevated by nature, and inspired by purpose. Whether meal prepping for local families, creating intimate dinners, or curating immersive retreat experiences, he brings the same fire: Real food, rooted soul, local flavor.
